One of my favorite quotes: “I am not what has happened to me. I am who I choose to become.” – Carl Rogers, psychologist. I believe change is possible, and I am honored to be a part of my client’s journeys.
My desire is to assist clients in becoming the best version of themselves as we work towards healing, growth, and achieving desired goals. I strive to help people find more meaning and peace in their lives. During counseling, clients have a chance to work through tough feelings and find ways to manage the hardships of life.
As someone who has had many years of therapy herself, I personally know the benefits it can bring to one’s life. I pursued this career path because I wanted to help others the same way I had been helped. Meeting with a counselor for the first time can be a scary thing for a lot of people, this is why I prefer to take a non-judgemental approach with my clients.
During my free time, I enjoy quality time with loved ones, cooking, decorating, taking walks out in nature, and spending time with my cat.
