My focus in counseling is to help people feel valued and supported. I strive to create a space that is safe and uniquely theirs, where they can work through whatever life challenges they may be facing. My goal is to collaborate with each client so they feel seen, heard, and accepted. Together, we identify coping skills and build on individual strengths to help clients reach their goals.
I have a strong passion for helping people, especially children and families. As a graduate of Wichita State University, I combine my education and life experience to support clients in ways that foster clarity, resilience, personal growth, mindfulness, and strengths-based coping skills. I am dedicated to helping individuals on their journey to accept who they are while growing into who they wish to become.
One of my greatest strengths is working with play therapy techniques. I also incorporate several therapeutic approaches including narrative therapy, sand tray therapy, mindfulness practices, and compassionate inquiry. My work is guided by trauma-informed care and family systems perspectives, helping clients move toward balance and meaningful solutions. My primary focus is supporting children and families, as I believe every child deserves to feel healthy, happy, and whole.
