I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a strong background in education and school-based mental health. I spent seven years working as a high school counselor and twelve years as a public school teacher, experiences that deeply shaped my understanding of adolescents, relationships, and the challenges people face during periods of growth and transition.
I work primarily with teens and adults navigating concerns such as grief and loss, self-esteem, childhood trauma, relationship difficulties, depression, anxiety, stress, and major life transitions. My approach to therapy is collaborative and compassionate, with an emphasis on helping clients feel seen, supported, and empowered in their healing process.
I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based practices, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs and goals of the individual. Therapy with me is a space to slow down, build insight, and develop practical tools for creating meaningful and lasting change.
