Life IS tough!! Life is an ever changing roller coaster of ups and downs! We all need someone to talk to who is unbiased and that will offer a new perspective on life’s challenges. Why not make an investment in yourself and let me invest my time in listening to you?
I have over 20 years of experience in the mental health field. I obtained my Undergraduate degree from Wichita State University in 1995 with a focus Psychology and minors in Minority and Womens Studies. I earned a Masters of social work from Newman University in 2009.
My professional experience includes working with the foster care system in Kansas, mental health out patient programs , medical social work and counseling with caregivers and individuals with chronic medical conditions. I have experience working with children and adults but prefer to work with those ages 16 and up currently.
I will use an Eclectic approach to therapy that draws on multiple theoretical orientations and techniques. It is a flexible and multifaceted approach to therapy that allows me to use the most effective methods available to address each individual client’s needs. True transformational healing occurs holistically through physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual balance. There’s not a one size fits all technique.
