Barbara is a Licensed Master Social Worker who has been in social work for more than 16 years.
She has experience working with teen boys at J.R.B.R (Judge Riddell Boys’ Ranch), teen girls at King’s Treatment, adult females at Miracles House, hospice patients, and on 12 different military bases in 10 states as a Military & Family Life Counselor for members of the military and their family.
She is a graduate of Wichita State University with her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and a graduate of Newman University with her Mast of Social Work.
Barbara uses a variety of modalities and interventions, and her hops is for clients to feel safe and supported in telling their stories. She uses Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help her clients with issues that include, grief, loss, anxiety, and depression.
