Deanna Ecklund attended Newman University and received a degree in Master of Social Work. She went on to become a LSCSW and LMAC.
She specializes in trauma- informed care such as EMDR. Deanna has worked as a Drug and Alcohol Therapist at Bel Aire Recovery Inpatient Facility along with COMCARE and in Sedgwick County Drug court for a total of 9 years, using experiential therapies to assist with understanding addiction. She also worked as a Bereavement Coordinator at Serenity Hospice and worked as a Bereavement Therapist at Harry Hynes Hospice and at Three Trees now called Kidz Cope. She has experience in treating anxiety, depression, Borderline personality disorder and Bipolar disorder.
